Its Virtualization Technology for Connectivity includes a suite of hardware assists that improves overall system performance by lowering the I/O overhead in a virtualized environment. This optimizes CPU usage, reduces system latency and improves I/O throughput. It also uses queues and interrupt vectors to help in load-balancing the data and interrupts among themselves in order to lower the load on the processors and improve overall system performance. Moreover, it supports different technologies, such as QuickData Technology, MSI-X and Low Latency Interrupts, that helps accelerate the data across the platform, thereby improving application response times. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
